In each episode we are looking forward to have campsite fire chat about their experience and passion in the field.</p><p>Talks on Software Craftsmanship is mainly going to cover voices from across the Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) and Indian Ocean regions. Although I have been awarded as <a href="https://mvp.microsoft.com/en-us/PublicProfile/5001701">Microsoft Most Valuable Professional</a> (recently for Developer Technologies as well as Visual Developer for Visual FoxPro in the past) I don't work for Microsoft. The MVP award is a recognition of my community contributions and activities to engage with Microsoft services and products over years.</p><h2 id="3rd-person-bio">3rd Person Bio</h2><p>Although living on a tropical island, Jochen Kirstätter is a business owner and entrepreneur in different industry sectors. Mainly operating in the development of tailor-made software solutions since more than 15 years, he is also holder of various certifications on Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform. He founded the Mauritius Software Craftsmanship Community (MSCC), now largest IT community in Mauritius, and organises the annual Developers Conference.
